I am a creative business executive and entrepreneur who has worked extensively in the United States, India, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. With a unique storytelling ability and deep analytical skills, I have developed hybrid business models that withstand evolving markets and corner industries, seeing ~400M takeovers in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain spaces. This approach has been deployed in venture capital to public education, governance, risk & compliance through to the arts; always underpinned by moving in fast paced environments and reinvigorating stale markets.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Raum, LLC. (“RaumCo”)

Tampa, Florida — Founder and Managing Member – 5/2014 – Present

Responsible for overseeing this advisory firm and creative lab to private wealth management firms, HNWIs, corporations, investment firms and government organizations. Lead the firm’s existing business streams along with incubation of new concepts.

Key Results:
Founding Member of the Venture Capital Firm – created and formed the venture capital firm as a new subsidiary of CSH. Created a robust limited partner (LP) investment portfolio and network of leading venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders.

Led the investments of more than $25 million to minority owned tech entrepreneurs and venture capital firms based on “tech hybrid” strategy. Created and executed business development strategies and identified synergies within and outside the portfolio that fit the investment thesis and drove engagement.

Launched firm, carried out business development strategy, marketing and partnerships. Led outreach to acquire controlling interest investments in suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers that provided mission critical products or services and had symbiotic relationships with leading corporations and government entities.

Sourced more than $3.5 billion in new opportunities, charting new path consistent with the investment thesis. The firm acquired a $400 MIL opportunity in the agriculture sector from a Fortune 100 company

Grew the market awareness by greater than 45%, launched alliance partners to drive growth of MetricStream’s existing footprint along with movement into new sales lines of business and current pipeline growth in the region.

Built out MetricStream’s presence in the public sector and healthcare practice in the Southwest region as a pipeline generation strategy, totaling $1,000,000+ in new revenue.

In less than a year, improved customer relations and outcomes by 70% with key clients in the region.

Led offshore team from the lowest performing to being awarded the highest number of “deal generation”
registered for the company in 2014, resulting in 40% growth year on year to date.

Managed a team of 7 resources in Bangalore towards the acquisition of 8 strategic customers, 10 partnerships, a 40% increase in prospect response and deal generation, with a 60% increase in response rate on Request for Proposals in the Asia Pacific Market within the 1st two years.

Led the company’s first customer partnership and customer projects in over four countries, and first go-to-market entry in the Philippines and Vietnam markets, contributing to greater than 2.5 million dollars in new revenue
